“What then shall I do with Jesus which is called Christ?” Mark 15:22

I also think of a poem:

The same ambition can destroy or save,
And makes a patriot as it makes a knave.

Fools! who from hence into the notion fall,
That vice or virtue there is none at all.

Ask your own heart, and nothing is so plain;
’Tis to mistake them, costs the time and pain.

Vice is a monster of so frightful mien,
As, to be hated, needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace.

Alexander Pope.

For a person to think of their self with the equivalence of an omniscient god or a benevolent idol is ludicrous!

For others to think them so is terrifying!

Socialism or Capitalism?

In the beginning two plans were presented.

The second plan was that we could have anything in this world for money!

The first plan was to Love Our Neighbor, Lift the Feeble, Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked.

The author of the second plan came and is reigning with money and terror.

Jesus Christ came and enacted the first plan, loving all neighbors, feeding those hungry, clothing naked, healing illness, listening, and empathizing; all without cost to recipients.

Jesus asks us to follow him as disciples, doing as He did!
